Our Mission

Understanding Movement. Chasing Your Personal Best.

The drive to improve is shared across sports. MoveSensei brings together interactive games, visual movement breakdowns and calculated biomechanics to help people explore how movement works.

Our background

From the National Coaching Bench to Global Innovation

“At every international championship I attended as a national youth judo coach, head coaches from across the globe shared the same pressing concern: youth participation was declining, digital screens were winning, and traditional coaching methods were no longer connecting with the next generation.”

This experience inspired the creation of MoveSensei. Rather than fighting screen time, we saw an opportunity to turn it into curiosity about sport: combining games, animated movement and visual explanations of biomechanics.

Our aim is to help young people, athletes and teachers connect what happens on a screen with the principles behind movement on the mat, court and playing field.

Visual Understanding Beyond Numbers

Numbers become more useful when you can see what they describe. MoveSensei uses animated characters, movement breakdowns and calculated values to explore coordination, balance, timing and the kinetic chain.

Compare movements, change available controls and discover how different choices affect a simulated performance. The goal is to make sports science approachable and encourage learning through exploration.

Energy & Power: A Shared Language for Movement

Energy, expressed in joules, and power, expressed in watts, give us a shared language for exploring movement. A judo throw, a tennis stroke and a basketball jump involve different techniques, but each depends on coordinated movement, timing and the transfer of energy.

MoveSensei uses visual simulations and calculated values to make these principles easier to explore and understand. Shared units provide context; different sports and simulation models are not directly equivalent.

Learning Through Movement, Together

Rooted in judo’s principle of mutual welfare and benefit, our mission is to encourage curiosity, participation and a lifelong interest in movement. Personal progress matters, and so does helping others learn.

The sports apps demonstrate movement through supplied character animations and calculated models. These demonstrations do not measure your own body or replace individual coaching.
