What are Biomechanics and Kinematics?
•Kinematics: The Blueprint of Motion
•Kinematics describes motion without considering the forces that cause it. It's the study of:
•Joint Angles and Trajectories
•Linear and Angular Velocities
•Acceleration Patterns
The Sequencing of Body Segments (Kinematic Chains)
This is the foundation. By understanding the precise pathways of movement, we can deconstruct any athletic skill into its core components.
What is Sports Biomechanics?
It is the science that explains how and why the human body moves the way it does. By applying the principles of physics and engineering to athletic movement, we can move beyond subjective observation to objective, data-driven analysis.
•Maximize POWER: Identify the weak links in your kinetic chain to generate more force, faster racket speed, or a longer throw.
•Optimize ENERGY EFFICIENCY: Reduce wasted motion to conserve energy for peak performance throughout a game or match.
•Enhance SAFETY: Pinpoint technique flaws that place excessive stress on joints and muscles, helping to prevent chronic injuries.
An Exciting simple and challenging exersize for balance, and Core power! Dragon-squat challenges the balance and complete muscle chains and also look awesome! On the round wall we calculate the balance points of the athlete while they do the exercise! Also from this movement we can calculate all the physics outputs in real-time!
We specialise in calculating and visualising physics from body movements and many sports
We have sampled the energy- and force breakdowns in Tennis serves. Linear energy from the lower body is followed by the specific circular motion of the swinging arm. Our goal is to demonstrate our calculation methods and the serve technique is not ideal but our method can be used to analyse different kinematics chains from a Tennis Serve!
Here are two golf drivers compared side-by-side. Both movements are broken down for kinematics and biomechanics principles and energies between the swing movements are calculated. We are specialised in this kind of body movement analysis. Golf is a brand new "in-progress" sport for us and we are excited to be working on it, and we are also working to improve the shot but the body movements between the two are comparable. With correct methods it is possible to compare movements in real-time.

We are passionate about visualizing and optimizing any sport where balance, complex body movements, and the transfer of linear and rotational energy are key to performance. The potential is limitless.
